This article talks about the changes in Firefox 3.5 that using ICC color correction.
Finally we are going to get better color in a modern browser.
This article covers the topic in detail
Let me just say that with Firefox 3.5 you get color correction on images that are tagged with an ICC color profiles. This feature was in version 3.0, but the hit to performance made Mozilla turn it off by default. In 3.5 they have corrected some of the issues…now it is on by default but is only used to correct images that are tagged with a ICC profile.
Gerri noticed the top bar in facebook looking sharp and deeper blue, that will be true for many images, but not all images. If you want to turn ICC color correction on for all images you will have to change the about:config settings as discussed in the article mentioned above. Now if you do change the settings in 3.5 to always display color correction you will see a performance hit, if you have a computer system that can handle this change then I think the advantages of seeing better color hue, saturation, sharpness, etc is worth it.
I have it turned on right now and I will say that the images look just as good in FF 3.5 as they do in Photoshop.
